I am Dr. Asil’s Assistant. I am originally from Arizona but have traveled around from the East to West Coast over the years. California has easily been my favorite home. I’ve been in the dental field for over 2 years now and am beyond excited for what this career has to offer in the future. I love working at Smile Design dental Group as I made this office my second home. On my spare time I love to hike, go to gym, camp, read and never skip out on a good beach day! (:
Meet ‘Susie’
I love being the dental hygienist for Smile Design Dental Group. I have enjoyed connecting with our patients and am passionate about helping them to achieve their best oral health while maintaining their beautiful smiles.
After growing up in Tucson, Arizona, I earned my Bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University. I moved to California with my son 3 years ago, and we are now living in Newport Beach where my son attends Corona Del Mar High School. When not working or attending my son’s basketball games, I enjoy working out, going to sporting events, and walking the beautiful Orange County Beaches.
Meet ‘Val’
I have been working at Smile Design Dental Group for over a year now and thoroughly enjoy it. I am cross trained to work in both the back office as a dental assistant, and as a receptionist at the front. My favorite part about my job is getting to see how patients gain a new sense of confidence after their dental work is completed. My overall goal is to become a dental hygienist. During my free time, I like to go on hikes and spend a lot of time with family and friends.
Meet ‘Martina’
I have been in the dental field for 25 years, juggling roles as a dual trained dental assistant and front office manager. Originally, I am from Los Angeles, I moved to Seattle in the early 90s, where I worked for most of my dental career. Last year, my son Patrick and I moved to Orange County and LOVE IT! Working with Dr. Asil and the team at Smile Design Dental Group have been a true blessing, the knowledge and work ethic of our amazing staff is invaluable, and they are pretty cool too! When I am not busy with dental duties, you can find me rooting for the Seahawks during the football season, hanging out with friends and family, trying new restaurants, or lounging at the beach!
Meet ‘Bruna’
I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, where I graduated in dentistry in 2014, and worked and managed my own clinic. I’m also post graduated in orthodontics and Invisalign certified. My husband’s job transfer led me from Rio to Orange County in the end of 2021.I love to work and share my days with Dr. Asil and my colleagues. Smile Design Group It’s a very pleasant environment. I love being in contact with nature with my daughter, husband, and my dog. Playing tennis, volleyball, traveling, and spending time at the beach are my favorite hobbies.
